Clara Mathilda Faisst (1872-1948) lived most of her life in Karlsruhe, Germany. She worked as a pianist, composer and teacher. By coincident somebody had pulled music and letters out of a dumpster, after she had died. She had no family, all her belongings went out to the curb. She would have been forgotten, like so many others.
Ms. Faisst had monthly house concerts even during the war.
Albert Schweizer was a dear friend of hers.
